Just arrived in Nairobi with Anu and Rachel for what should be a very intense week. I am here for some strategic meetings with our team, donors and partners to discuss ‘up scaling tea sustainability in the East African tea sector’. We’ll be looking at how the different organisations working in this field can most effectively link our activities together in order to have the greatest impact possible. We are also keen to discuss the future investment priorities for donors.

There is also some very interesting training going on in Kenya this week, with the Africa Now team and their associates being trained in the RA approach and also in climate change and adaptation techniques, as part of the ETP-GIZ project. Rachel and Anu will provide some first hand experience of the training, so look out for their blogs later in the week.
