TEAM UP

TEAM UP is our global conference for tea sustainability, organised and co-hosted by us together with IDH – the Sustainable Trade Initiative.

2022 Sustainability Solutions

On 21 June 2022, the TEAM UP conference explored the tea sector’s most significant and challenging sustainability issues, and brought together business leaders and key players from across the tea value chain. We heard from experts from within and beyond tea, and delegates shared their experiences.

Together, we delved into the challenges of achieving net zero; explored the practicalities of the latest women’s empowerment and protection guidance and frameworks; and debated approaches to living wage and living incomes.

2018 Catalysing Change

In its sixth year, the event provided industry players and external partners with a platform to create a thriving and sustainable sector; one that improves livelihoods and brings long-term benefits and prosperity to the people at the heart of tea farming and production. We reviewed the impact that we have collectively made so far and how the sector has been responding to the challenge of the UN Sustainable Development Goals. We also looked at the next set of priorities and discussed the most effective ways to achieve transformational sector-wide change.
